We heard you. One of the most common concerns about Chords is whether using the wired connection will draw power from your phone.

The companion app lets you set a threshold. When your phone drops below it — say 15% — Chords automatically stops drawing power. Your earphones switch to wired-only mode: audio continues seamlessly, charging simply stops.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. The magnetic cable carries both audio and power to your earphones
  2. The companion app monitors your phone's battery in real time
  3. When battery falls below your set threshold, charging auto-disables
  4. Audio continues — wired mode works independently of charging
